I believe art is a quiet conversation with yourself. An invitation to pause — and to feel what is otherwise rarely given space. In a world that constantly pulls us outwards, this is a radical act. My paintings are created from precisely this desire — to take a step closer to yourself, tune into your inner world, and stay with the feeling. In a world that profits off our numbness, my artworks exist as spaces to come alive again. I call this the "me-search." And I’m convinced we need it more than ever.

Ich glaube, dass Kunst ein leises Gespräch mit dir selbst ist. Eine Einladung, innezuhalten — und zu fühlen, was sonst selten Raum bekommt. In einer Welt, die uns ständig nach außen zieht, ist das ein radikaler Akt. Meine Kunstwerke entstehen genau aus diesem Wunsch heraus — sich selbst einen Schritt näherzukommen, in sich hineinzufühlen und beim Gefühl zu bleiben. In einer Welt, die von unserer Abstumpfung profitiert, sind meine Kunstwerke wie Orte, an denen man wieder lebendig werden kann. Ich nenne das den „Me-Search“. Und ich bin überzeugt, dass wir das mehr denn je brauchen.

"Estate in Movimento" reflects on what summer does to us: it makes us slow and restless at the same time. Too hot to move, yet something keeps swirling. That's what came out on paper in early July 2026.

"Estate in Movimento" reflektiert darüber, was der Sommer mit uns macht: Er macht uns träge und ruhelos zugleich. Zu heiß, um sich zu bewegen, und doch wirbelt da etwas weiter. Genau das ist Anfang Juli 2026 aufs Papier gekommen.

"Particles" emerged from the softest part of my heart, carrying all the hope and love I could hold in 2025.

“Particles” sind aus dem sanftesten Teil meines Herzens heraus entstanden und tragen all die Hoffnung und Liebe in sich, die ich in 2025 Jahr halten konnte.

Tenderness flows through these pieces, which were also born by and in the river — the tenderness we carry as women, a gentle strength that guides us.

Zärtlichkeit fließt durch diese Werke, die zugleich am Fluss entstanden sind – jene Wärme, die wir als Frauen in uns tragen, eine sanfte Kraft, die uns leitet.

Each piece in this new Estate al Fiume series (Italian, meaning 'by the river') carries a special energy that was brought to life with vibrant watercolours on paper in collaboration with the River Passer in Meran, South Tyrol - the Italian mountains in the North of Italy, where I live.

Jedes Stück der Estate al Fiume-Serie (Italienisch für „Sommer am Fluss”) trägt eine besondere Energie, die mit strahlenden Aquarellfarben auf Papier in Kollaboration mit dem Fluss Passer hier in Meran entstand.
